Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, both are missing from the recent episodes of ESPN’s First Take. However, there was a time when they got involved in a heated argument, resulting in threats and bizarre comments.

Molly was once criticized on First Take by Smith on the show for not being able to throw a perfect spiral ball. However, the NFL analyst was adamant that she could pull it off.

Qerim later got agitated by the constant gestures from Smith and decided to challenge him to a boxing match and vowed to beat him up in front of live TV. “Stephen A, we are going to a boxing gym. I’m going to swing for the first time on live TV and I’m going to bust your a**,” Qerim stated on the First Take.

Smith was visibly shocked after the outburst from Qerim and quickly decided to hit back at the NFL analyst. However, the conversation ended immediately after that.

It was quite visible that both Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim had broken their character and chartered away from talking about the NFL. Former NBA player Jay Williams was also present during the interaction and he was visibly shocked after the outburst.

Molly Qerim and Stephen A. Smith have been absent from the First Take

Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim were considered regulars for ESPN’s First Take and many viewers are extremely aware of their absence. They both stopped coming to the show after the recent firing spree by ESPN consisting of many high-profile analysts.

Interestingly, it is also reported that Smith and Qerim are involved in a romantic affair. Nonetheless, the fans are asking for their return. Temporary host Shae Cornette took charge of the proceedings on Monday.

Smith has not been featured on First Take since the 7th of July. However, he is pretty active on his solo show where he had made many controversial statements in recent history.

On the other hand, Molly Qerim has been absent from the show and is apparently on a long vacation. Fortunately, the duo haven’t confirmed their exit from the show and it is expected that Stephen A. Smith will be back in action anytime soon.
